Why Builders Club Works
There are more than 1,500 Builders Clubs in middle schools around the world. No two are alike. Each club is an independent entity-designed for its members, by its members. They work together to improve their schools and their communities. Their service also increases the visibility and enhances the reputation of both the club and the school or organization they represent. The program is designed to fit member and volunteer interests.

Builders Club is uniquely built on an important principle: Amazing things happen when the students take the lead.
It’s age-appropriate.
The program and its resources are designed specifically to help middle school students get the most of of the club experience.
Your needs matter.
Each club determines its own meeting schedule, service projects and other activities in order to fit the needs of advisors, members and sponsors.

Drum roll please..... Lakewood Kiwanis Scholarship Foundation is proud to announce our 2022 recipients for this year’s graduating high school seniors. The following 15 graduates are being awarded 14 $10,000 and 1 $5000 for vocational, for their academic, citizenship and leadership abilities. This scholarship fund is funded thru the efforts of The Kiwanis Club of Lakewood. The Lakewood Kiwanis Golf Outing and Annual Scarecrow Festival were just two of our major fundraisers. We have the privilege of rescheduling Alan Jenkins today and his talk about 'Nehemiah's Network' and the disaster relief this group is doing. He was unable to be at the last meeting as one of the trucks delivering supplies to the Atlantic coast to travel to the Ukraine was picking up its load that day.
Kiwanis members may remember, Pastor Jenkins was one of our speakers during the 2022 Lenten prayer series.
